Since 2010 AERISTO has operated its AeristoCraft division, a one-of-a-kind bespoke leather crafting studio focused on providing customers with design-oriented solutions and enhancement capabilities.
AeristoCraft has made a name for itself in the industry as the first and premier manufacturer of leather quilted inserts for seats, side panels, bulkheads and more. In addition to quilting customers have the ability to select from a host of additional services to combine with (or without) the quilting, including custom perforation capabilities, embroidery, embossing and laser etching.
Quality is paramount which is why AeristoCraft continues to do all quilting by hand. This is an extremely time intensive process where every stitch is counted and placed according to the plan. AERISTO’s expert craftspeople practice extreme patience with the understanding that their customer base demands the best. All designs start as a mathematical equation and every stitch is counted and placed as required. No stitches overlap one another, a quality that can only be guaranteed when done by hand.
In addition, customizations are welcome and encouraged. AeristoCraft has an in-house design team that will work with the customer/customer’s design team to turn ideas into reality, creating meaningful and individual designs that tie into the overall design of the project. Leather quilting can be both very intricate as well as modest. The key is to complement the rest of the project’s design features. However, the application will benefit from quilted leather as the material itself will not shift or sag over time/usage.
AERISTO celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2020. Since the 1990’s AERISTO has focused supplying the industry with the highest end leathers manufactured in the tanning process to meet all technical specifications projects call for.
