A high-end luxury cinema room for bespoke apartments and penthouses in Central London. The Strand is a luxurious new London development by St Edward offering a stunning range of suites, apartments, and penthouses. Located on the world-famous Strand, this new iconic landmark is closely linked to the richest aspects of London living. Aonyx set out to create a relaxing environment for members, putting effective and intuitive control at their fingertips. ‘Ease of Use’ was a key requirement, allowing members the freedom and convenience to interact with their surroundings. Aonyx’s favourite aspect of this project would be that they aimed and successfully achieved the clients goal by creating the ideal cinema room.
Aonyx were appointed to design, install, commission and maintain the private Cinema room and the audio visual / environmental control system for the exclusive & luxurious Leisure Centre. The cinema features a 3m projection screen and premium 11.2 surround sound system, with high end projection from JVC. The cinema room is controlled with ease via Control4, integrating lighting to create the ultimate cinema experience. Cinema seating was provided to give the residents and guests the ultimate comfort whilst watching their favourite films. The fabric walling for the cinema was hand crafted on site so that Aonyx were able to provide a bespoke tailored finish to the cinema room.
The design for this project worked so well due to all the aspects of the room working together coherently. The steps were created to make the perfect viewing angle along with high tech equipment giving the users amazing sound and ease of control. The strand is a high-end luxury establishment. The design of the cinema room integrates with the wider environment by incorporating lavish aspects from the rest of building into the cinema room itself. The interiors of the room are of the highest quality which Aonyx feel amalgamates with the layout of the building.
