Bespoke have been shortlisted in the Bar/Club/Lounge category for the International Hotel and Property Awards 2013 with the magnificent Churchill Bar in London.

The five-star Hyatt Regency London commissioned Bespoke London to create a new London
destination bar within The Churchill Hotel.
The bar interior’s concept was largely influenced by the Art Deco movement of the 1930s when a younger Sir Winston Churchill was in power. This revolutionary era of invention, design and technological progression has inspired the eclectic grace echoed throughout the bar combining traditional craft motifs with machine age materials.

The interior showcases the signature almond gold starburst presenting itself on the entrance doors and front of the bar that contrasts against the blended tones of smokey grey timber panelling and richly coloured velvet and leather upholstery. During the 1930’s materials such as ceramic, stainless steel, gold and stones were prevalent and these materials are used in the bar’s interior.

The finishes selected were characterised by rich colours, bold geometric shapes and lavish ornamentation. Attention to detail is evident throughout the bar – every detail is bespoke and has been considered and designed with precision, prototyped and manufactured to the highest quality.
The overall result of the design is timeless sophistication with original and elegant detailing, an interior that is a paragon of our experience in interior design.
