Chris Diamond Design Shortlisted for Bathroom Award in International Design and Architecture Awards 2016

design et al are pleased to announce that Chris Diamond Design have been shortlisted for a Bathroom Award in the International Design and Architecture Awards 2016.

This stunning master en-suite was designed by Chris Diamond Design on behalf of a high-end property developer for a Grade-II listed residential building in the heart of Hampstead Heath, London.

Bathroom-6

With a sophisticated palette and high vaulted ceiling, this open plan master is a calming oasis, promoting well-being through a harmony of natural elements. Juxtaposing textures are off set by sleek, modern design touches, allowing tranquillity to permeate the ambience. Natural stone mimics the warmth of wood grain and creates an impressive backdrop for the generously sized walk-through shower.

Bathroom 3

Nothing in the space distracts from relaxation. The toilet is cleverly concealed for modesty, allowing the room to be soaked in elegance. The sunken bath and soft under-step lighting illuminating the natural limestone floor certainly equate as much. The gently arching sides of the bath are counterpoint to the bespoke glass vanity unit with its streamlined double sinks and minimalist hardware. The prominent mirror above this unit makes artful use of natural light and emphasises the generous proportions of this unique ensuite design.

Bathroom 2

An open gas fire set with natural stones links the bathroom to the master bedroom, where shimmering crystals in the decadent chandelier beckon the gazes of indulgent champagne sippers.
