Coco Wolf Ltd have been Shortlisted for Seating Award in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2021.
As always, the Coco Wolf team were looking to take the concept of indoor-outdoor flow to the next level, producing designs that drew influence from the style and comfort of interior furniture, rather than the hard-wearing style typical of much outdoor furniture. Exquisite design and craftsmanship unite to impeccable effect in this striking contemporary furniture piece from a collection complemented with other seating options like sofas and dining chairs.
The key design aspect of the Nemi Bar Stool is the signature look of the design which is based around utilising slender spindle back around the seat of the bar stool, bringing a lightness to the aesthetic and help nestle beautifully around the curved design of the piece. Coco Wolf believes that the design works so well due to the stool being so fabulously sculptural and sensuously curved, the whole (Largo) collection that this design is part of radiates minimalist elegance with a modern twist.
Coco Wolf believe that the design of the Nemi Bar Stool integrates well into the wider environment as their designs work in harmony with natural wood and the highest-grade marine materials to promote outdoor use all year-round.
The design and fabrication process is a labour of love, using specialist artisan skills throughout the project. The Nemi Bar Stool was hand-crafted in the Coco Wolf workshop in Long Eaton, Derbyshire, which is a home to a proud team of experienced furniture makers who employ age-old artisanal skills to craft furniture to the highest standards.
