How would you describe your personal interior design style?
A contemporary and luxurious look, fusing timeless design with the very best advances in contemporary features and technology.

Where does your design inspiration come from?
We have the opportunity to visit some of the finest hotels around the world and draw inspiration from the experiences of travelling overseas and experiencing the best of international design.

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?
We Brits excel at luxury and hand crafted bespoke furniture. We are seeing large scale geometric furniture pieces in glamorous ‘bold gold’ alongside tremendous mixes of materials. New collections are awash with plush velvets, raw and organic linens, and ethereal sheers.  Colour is bold and sensuous with beautiful deep green and plum hues being this year’s hits but with earthy browns, corals, terracottas and pops of pink all in the mix.

Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in 2017 and beyond.
Wallpaper to create luxurious tones and textures.

Darker schemes – embracing the warmth and opulence of the darker tones.

Craftmanship, bespoke joinery enables optimum use of space.

Warm metals such as gold and bronze are resurging as they lend elegance to a space.

Strong natural materials such as marble as they give huge impact to design.

If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to interior design schemes, what would it be?
Layout is key to strong design. How we move through the space and the scale of furniture and accessories will impact the entire experience of a space.
