Where do you feel aviation design is going in terms of interior schemes?

Cleaner, uncluttered, modern solutions closer to modern apartment décor and incorporating many advance features found in a high end home such reliance on wifi for control systems be it entertainment, lighting, ventilation etc..

Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in 2017 and beyond.

– Understand the client’s lifestyle, preferences and expectations
– Offer innovation that represents measured risk from a manufacturing, installation, operability and maintainability perspective
– We live in a pressured environment; design for visual and spiritual tranquillity and avoidance of stress
– Design should satisfy the needs and expectations of the end-user not the ego of the designer
– Designs should be practical and merchantable.

If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to design schemes, what would it be?

Talk to an experienced advisor before you begin formulating your wants and needs and certainly before making contractual commitments!
What products/services could you not live without when designing?
A team with multiple skill sets from artistic to technical that can draw from each other’s talents
Suppliers that understand innovation and the importance of performing their deliverables

As a designer please list the following:

Kestrel Aviation Management is an aviation consulting company, specialising in the purchase, sale, modification, financing and management of large commercial and corporate aircraft.

What sets Kestrel Aviation Management apart is the fact that we can provide a comprehensive advisory service to clients ranging from airlines, royal flights, corporate jet operators, governments, financial institutions, investors, and high net worth families drawing from a very broad as well as detailed experience based on the purchase and sale of over 350 commercial and corporate aircraft worth in excess of $50 billion and financing in excess of $9 billion.

Kestrel has managed the cabin conversion of seven widebody and seven narrowbody Airbus and Boeing aircraft over the last fifteen years most for Gulf and Middle East clients. Kestrel is also a specialist in Bombardier and Gulfstream business aircraft. Kestrel’s role is not just about producing outstanding VVIP interiors, it’s about driving the entire process from aircraft purchase, cabin design and modification to delivery and entry into service or sale of the finished product.   On large corporate and head of state aircraft, no one does this better.

Kestrel Aviation Management is ideally qualified to be your partner and advocate, supplementing not replacing your current in-house team and existing professional advisors with its unique knowledge base.  Many claim that they can provide bespoke turn-key services in this sector, but few can truly provide such a complete spectrum and exceptional track record of integrated services on large and complex corporate and head of state aircraft
