design et al are delighted to announce that A2Zen Consulting have been shortlisted for a Kitchen Over £50,000 Award in The International Design and Architecture Awards 2016
A luxury yet contemporary space in an innovative Architectural Masterpiece which is revolutionary for Monte Carlo. The kitchen needed to have a dining area and to be comfortable for family time.
The kitchen was designed so that the sea view would be predominant at all times while preparing food, eating a snack at the counter or sitting at the table. The designers at A2Zen left ample access to the terrace so that there could be a good flow between indoor and outdoor dining. They wanted the kitchen to feel as important as the rest of the property.
The designers wanted the kitchen to be a continuation of the living/dining room, so they wrapped the wall adjoining the living room in the same walnut. The entire space was designed with a special attention to materials. The property needed to be given its importance and needed to ooze luxury without being opulent. In the kitchen this was achieved with the wall panelling and integrated TV, secluded behind the mirror. The Swarovski Chandelier was the touch of plush, yet very sober with it’s leather structure.
