BM Design worked from inception with the architects including planning and listed building consent through to completion to renovate this impressive 5,000 sq ft private residence.

The Victorian townhouse once owned by the cricketer Mike Atherton and later by the flamboyant comedian Alan Carr was not lacking in colour or “nutty sentiments.” The family’s brief stated that whilst it was important to respect the period detailing, they wanted a calming, elegant and contemporary environment that was also workable as a family home – a far cry from Carr’s colour scheme.
