design et al are delighted to announce that Casa Forma have been shortlisted for a Kitchen over £50,000 Award in The International Design and Architecture Awards 2016
Inspired by the distinctly British character and charm of the Thames Walk location, One Tower Bridge is a luxury 170sqm lateral apartment consisting of 3 large sized en-suite bedrooms with spacious living and dining room integrated to open plan kitchen. The client requested Casa Forma to create an integrated kitchen décor that worked in direct harmony with the living and dining room areas. When creating the interior design scheme for this 170sqm, Casa Forma’s main focus was on practicality and functionality, whilst at the same time exuding the best in bespoke elegance and luxury. The result is a sophisticated and timeless design and a comfortable family home with one of the best views in London.
Being an open plan space, the kitchen had to be elegant yet functional with the ability for everything to be discretely stored away so as to avoid the space feelings cluttered. The main focus of the Living and Kitchen area is aimed towards the windows which boasts one of the best views in London.
There is an unexpected yet sophisticated combination of palettes and materials used were very successful combined with a functional layout solution. Wood panels are great solution to conceal the mess and make sure the space looks immaculate, this concept has been unlisted to great effect within this space with the use of elegant and subtle textures. The dark marble worktop further adds to the sense of within this space.
