The purpose of the show suite is to capture the imagination of the prospective buyer; to allow to them to dream of a better a life, to imagine living in the wonderful new development. The metropolis development in situated in a new area of Hangzhou targeted a sophisticated clientele who enjoy the benefits of living in the centre of town. The architecture is inspired by Art Deco New York skyscrapers. This design language is followed through to the landscape and interior design of the public spaces. Their design is all about telling stories. More design office started by imagining the owner, their passion for travel, for art and for enjoying life. The apartment is conceived as a gallery where to show their collection which they obtained through years of travel.

More design office were very interested in the concept of transformation in their projects. Through the physical and emotional, they want people to step into a new world when they enter one of their projects; to take them on a journey and allow to them to imagine new and greater experiences. An overall luxury pallet of marble, leather, walnut/textured wallpaper creates a refined luxurious environment where accent colours and textures are introduced to reflect the city (grey), the countryside (green) and lake (blue). The layout is organized over 2 floors with living, (entrance, living room, dining) at entrance level, and private spaces (bedrooms and bathrooms) upstairs. The levels are connected by a double height living space which functions as the heart of the project.

The designer searched across the world for unique pieces of furniture and artwork which reflect the cultured and sophisticated taste of the owner. There are several artisan pieces we selected for the soft furnishing. Under the stair we placed the hand-blown Ripple Lamp by Poetic Lab and J&L Lobmeyr creates an ever –changing movement of light similar to light reflecting on water. In the master bedroom is the beautifully handcrafted Ocean Armoire cabinet by Alexander Lamont. Clad in deep coral parchment and bronze, its octopus handle emerges through a forest of light-scattered coral beneath the sea.
