The Roma Console table is inspired by the elegance of 1960s Italian design. Its creation driven by a desire to create a table that sat gracefully in a room, a table that was classic and yet modern. The design appears poised on slender legs with bronze sabots. As with all of Fiona McDonald furniture, the clients have freedom over choice of timber, finish and dimensions. The Glass top of the Roma console is available in a wide range of colours which makes the personalisation and individuality of Fiona’s pieces stand at the forefront .
The team recently produced a 4 metre console table in French polished ebonised mahogany which works as a version of this Roma Console. Inspired by Italian design and working with a small team of skilled craftsmen, Fiona has developed the Contemporary Collection – a British made range of furniture and seating, together with a selection of Italian-made mirrors and lighting.Serving both commercial and residential projects, and with flexibility over measurements and finish, we provide a truly bespoke service. Fiona has been sourcing antiques for over fifteen years. Her showroom in central London has an established reputation for elegant and distinctive mid-century design.
