design et al are delighted to announce that The London Furnishing Company have been shortlisted for a Residential Property Value £5 Million Plus Award in The International Design and Architecture Awards 2016
The London Furnishing company were commissioned to design, procure and install this three bedroom ‘Hepworth Suite’ apartment for critically acclaimed developer St George, at One Blackfrairs, London.
The team were given the brief to create an aspirational ‘on brand’ living space which fully maximised and embraced the concept of open plan living and reflect and adhere to the standards and values of the surrounding properties in this area. It needed to provide ample space to allow dining for a minimum of 6 people along with extra entertaining and relaxing areas.
The London Furnishing team used luxury brand items and bespoke artworks throughout, which not only adds to the the apartments exclusivity but also creates a strong continuity in luxurious design throughout the property.
The Master bedroom was designed as a luxurious, mature haven away from the hustle and bustle of London with a subtle diamond motif seen in the bespoke upholstered wall, inspired by one of London’s iconic building ‘The Shard’. The London Furnishing company felt that taking inspiration from the skyline of London and its position on the river Thames created a unique and inviting interior design. The design of the entire apartment is centred around the dramatic backdrop of the London Skyline and elements of this are found throughout the apartment.
