design et al are thrilled to announce Michael Fiebrich Design has won Hotel Over 200 Rooms Award in The International Hotel & Property Awards 2016.
This newly constructed 500 room luxury Hotel is located in Manila, Philippines. The Design brief was to include Guestrooms, Suites, Villas, Lobby, Spa, Fine Dining, and Bar Lounge for The Crown Tower Hotel. The Michael Fiebrich Design displays strong architectural interiors. The bold graphic statements are part of Crown Resort’s image which were infused with local elements and materials to provide brand recognition with a strong sense of place.
A key aspect of Michael Fiebrich Design was the dramatic bronze screens and marble inlay floors, which provide bold patterns that act as a backdrop for the Lobby’s vibrant art installations. Double height silk draperies and custom designed chandeliers add soft curves as well as form and texture.
Crown Resorts – Australia’s leading Hotel and Gaming Group, have a very strong brand identity which the team were very successful in applying, but also weaving regional elements and materials of the Philippines into the design by working with local manufacturers and artisans.
