design et al are delighted to announce that Studio Insign have been shortlisted for a Lobby/Public Area/Lounge -Global Award in The International Hotel and Property Awards 2016
The new Novotel lobby space in Bucharest is an original Studio Insign concept. The architects and interior designers worked together in order to rethink a place to mingle and socialize, taking to the next level a space travellers simply passed through, until now.
From the chromatic point of view, they have used warm colours that reflect a comfortable gathering place and a few tones of blue-magenta to add a fresh, young look to the space.
The whole concept is built around curved lines and organic elements that float and work together perfectly in an unitary modern space. The main attraction of the design is the central space. Studio Insign chose key furniture pieces that were comfortable and inviting. At the same time, the guests can socialize and discover some other aspects of the design elements such as the lighting accessories.
Every aspect the carpeting, the carefully chosen pieces of furniture created by top designers and the lighting should add to the experience and take the guests to a highly functional room that engages all senses. This way, people can communicate and feel good in an inviting space.
