design et al are delighted to announce that David Hunt Lighting have been shortlisted for Lighting – Piece Award within The International Design and Architecture Awards 2018.

The Hyde Collection features a contemporary design with a nostalgic nod to mid-century modern composition. Made with the finest brass framework in a sophisticated butter brass finish and completed with hand spun metal shades. The shades can be painted in a variety of colours including arctic white (as shown). Made in the Costwolds, David Hunt Lighting can tailor the Hyde Collection to suit any design scheme.

David Hunt Lighting’s favourite aspect of this product was during the development of the Hyde collection. The designers experimented with numerous finishes and realised how truly versatile the Hyde Collection can be. The Hyde collection is available with Arctic White, Pebble, Smoke Blue and Black metal shades. Due to the size and complexity of the product, this fitting is manufactured to order with an extended lead time of 10 to 14 days.

The design of this product works so well because it is a modern piece which can be colour matched to any requirement, including brass or pewter metal work or varying coloured shares. This means that its suitability has no limits. Hyde is handmade by the David Hunt Lighting team in the Cotswolds, even the metal shares are individually hand spun and painted.
