Designer Kitchen have been shortlisted in the ‘Kitchen over £25,000’ category in the International Design and Architecture Awards 2014.

Designer Kitchen were approached by a client to build a kitchen that was a multifuntional, family friendly space with ostentatious design features that satisfied their opposing preferences for linear design and contoured shapes.

A successful kitchen was built using a peninsula to fluidly explore and maximise the functional and social potential of the expansive architectural space while providing a solution for the lack of kitchen services.

The foundation was laid to the design with aesthetics, socialability and entertainment. Holisitc layers were introduced to create a complex blend of practicality and style that was tailored around the client.
