Tell us a little about your background in design (education, experience, etc)
Studied IT and Finance at Monash University and worked in corporate for 7 years before accidentally discovering the world of Interior Design and making the switch.
How would you describe your personal design style? Modern Eclectic
Where does your design inspiration come from?
The client inspires us, the environment of the project, pieces of furniture and mood.
In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?
It is becoming more unified and international.
Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in 2020 and beyond.
Ensuring every need of the client is met, looking at the project through their lens and be inspired and original.
If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to design schemes, what would it be?
Be thorough and provide every detail to the client. Pieces should be connected to the environment and have a meaningful purpose.
How important are The International Design & Architecture Awards?
It helps to bring the international community together and allows us to be acquainted with our peers all over the world!
What projects are you currently working on?
We are working on a couple of significant beach houses in Melbourne and a couple of restorations to heritage listed homes.
What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?
To continue making beautiful interiors and to create a greater mark in the industry.
