. Tell us a little about your background in design (education, experience, etc 

Educated at Inchbald School of Design, Sotheby’s and working with Piers Westenholtz were strong educational platforms. Subsequent experiences including interior design projects in Europe and the U.S. with knowledgeable and stimulating clients has been incredibly rewarding. The last twenty five years has been challenging, creative and stimulating which has enabled me the opportunity to design my range of furniture.

My stylish parents

. In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense? 
Less is more with quality

Don’t skimp on quality


. How important are The International Product Design Awards as recognition of talent and achievement?

Hugely,  There is nothing more satisfying then  being recognised for hard work and creativity.

. What projects are you currently working on?

A development in St James’s, a large duplex with roof terrace in Chelsea and an apartment in Paris.

. What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?

To continue expanding my bespoke furniture range including an 18 century  day bed with a modern twist.

The Colour by Rose Tremain, I thought Spy with Jude Law and Melissa McCarthy was hilarious and Pharrel Williams -Happy is so up beat!

Your favourite food and drink?

Oysters and elderflower cordial with San Pellegrino with loads of ice

Your favourite way to spend an afternoon? (in no more than 25 words) 

It goes without saying that the best time is spent with my family and dogs in the country on a lovely warm afternoon followed by spending an afternoon with knowledgeable dear friends gallery hopping!

If you weren’t a designer, what would you be?

Psychotherapist without a doubt!
