Tell us a little about your background in design…
I was trained as an architect in Thailand but in later years in my Uni I was in love with interior design, so started my career as interior designer since 2000 in Bangkok and Hong Kong. And set up my own studio in 2013.
How would you describe your personal interior design style?
Really depends on character of the project but either bold or understated design, I always try to add a bit of a twist in there either by color or pattern or style to create a surprise.
Where does your design inspiration come from?
Mostly from the research of brief, branding, and context of the site.
In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?
I think it’s more and more of individuality. With high competition like nowadays, people are getting away from being generic and set themselves apart from others. Especially commercial projects, they wants to be unique and different.
If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to interior design schemes, what would it be?
Unique, original and inspirational which I have been still trying to get there.
How important are The International Design and Architecture Awards as recognition of talent and achievement?
It is not that important for designers. Not being awarded doesn’t devalue that project if the design has already satisfy owner and designer.
But it might be for PR and marketing to certify that at least that designer has reached some curtain international standard as the award was not judged from fame, size or connections of that designer but purely the design that delivered to the project.
What projects are you currently working on?
Some high-end private residences, few boutique hotels and lots of high-rise residential projects.
What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?
I just hope I can create much better design than what I have been doing now. Tomorrow should be better than today.

A good cup of coffee, lounge music, comfy armchair with a piece of paper and pen.
If you weren’t a designer, what would you be?
I would still force myself to be designer.
