This sophisticated four-bedroom apartment in Bayswater is a testimony to luxurious city living. Located in an iconic and grand mansion block in Bayswater, Elicyon undertook the refurbishment of this apartment and have created an exquisite home finished to superlative standards.
This private client sought an impressive boutique hotel quality to the family home that they would use for just a proportion of the year. Specific elements of the brief included retaining the existing wardrobe joinery by refurbishing it; refinishing the existing flooring; changing the doors and ironmongery and incorporating the existing Fendi furniture pieces.
The art was to be sourced post-completion to complement the design scheme of the rooms. The apartment comprises a combination of bespoke and made to order furniture; the client’s existing Fendi pieces were seamlessly integrated into the design, while the wardrobes were skilfully transformed with the addition of faux shagreen to the inserts, demonstrating the versatility and uniqueness of the project. The neutral and calming colour palette contrasts beautifully with the bright accessories and detailing, working in harmony alongside the walnut parquet flooring.
