Tailored Living Interiors have been shortlisted for Living Space – UK Award in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2020.
Tailored Living Interiors were enlisted for a full turn-key interior design service for a stunning 7-bedroom country house located in Farnham, West Surrey. This relatively newly built modern home was in need of an upgrade from standard developer finishes to a luxury private residence.
Every interior designer’s dream is to work on a project with a wide brief – which became a reality for Tailored Living Interiors with this project. The client’s only expectation was for the space to have a warm, luxurious and comfortable feel but would also showcase their individual personalities. The clients trusted the expertise and professional knowledge of the designers to do the rest.
The designer’s favourite aspect of this project was creating a variety of bespoke furniture to fill the space to perfection. The bespoke round table is a firm favourite in the formal dining room with the luxurious marble lazy Susan and antique brass in-lay. A close second being the entrance banquette upholstered in sumptuous velvet and designed to follow the curve of the staircase.
This project was so successful as it was a coherent and well-rounded design. Furniture choices were perfectly considered to fit the space and helped to create an excellent traffic flow. The colour scheme feels very luxurious with a sophisticated and rich colour palette that enriches the room and perfectly integrates with all the finishes. The lighting scheme was key when developing the design, creating pockets of lights to enhance the rooms atmosphere.
Tailored Living Interiors successfully achieved the brief for this project, there is now a continuous and seamless flow of colours and finishes throughout the house, emphasising the ultimate luxury feeling through the main formal living areas.
