By means of illustration and mood boards, the design direction and general aesthetics were established. Extensive space planning was undertaken to maximise the layout, ensuring appropriate flow is achieved between each space and ultimately incorporating all the client requirements. The mission for Carter Tyberghein went on to developing colour, hard finishes, and design elements throughout the property. This also encompassed the coordination of the technical aspects of the design with the rest of the project team and a full design package was produced for the interior architecture of the property as well as the selection of furniture & furnishing schemes throughout being developed simultaneously.

Carefully hand-picked finishes such as, bronze, exotic marble in bathrooms and back-lit onyx amongst others bring various up-lifting accent notes and the appropriate level of luxury into the house. Likewise, furniture pieces and soft furnishing were meticulously added to the scheme, creating a sense of sophistication, harmony and serenity.

Particular attention to detail were given to certain features such as a cluster of bronze pendant lights hanging from an Alabaster skylight drawing the eye up the stairwell and bringing natural light down to Entrance Hall level. Bespoke joinery was extensively used throughout the property from Kitchen unit to wardrobes and specialist cabinetry giving sense of uniqueness to this family home.

Carter Tyberghein believe that the design works well due to a combination of factors i.e. flowing space-planning, harmonious finishes as well as its sophisticated lighting control system providing an atmospheric ambiance.
