Designed for the most prestigious of projects, the latest engineered range comprises of extra-large boards that offer impressive proportions of almost ½ m in width and up to 4 m in length.
A high quality, high performance, pre-finished board, Hand Grade is offered in eight distinctive finishes to ensure a perfect fit for any residential or commercial flooring project, from blackened hue of Consul, to the rich warm tones of Galway. Expertly manufactured using a superior triple layer construction, a birch ply core is encased between two panels of FSC-certified European oak, the top layer of which comes in a choice of two surfaces. One is a 19mm thick plank with micro-bevelled edges and a smooth sanded appearance, the other a sculpted, rounded-edge board with a textured and highly characterful appearance. Both options showcase the natural beauty, colour variations and grains of the wood’s surface, resulting in a floor covering that is as striking as it is practical.
The extra-large planks are finished with Hardwax oil to help create a more durable and resistant surface. These oils are also micro-porous and water repellent, protecting the wood whilst also further enhancing the beauty of its natural characteristics.
