Tell us a little about your background:

I’ve always had an interest in art, I found that architecture satisfied this interest. I have never like to build, however I enjoy transforming different environments. I opened my first office when my children started school.

How would you describe your personal design style?
I have no particular style but looking at the world in general, the discipline cannot be learned through books, everything is up to oneself. I like basic infrastructure, a geometry of straight lines when its possible along with neutral colors. I enjoy the mixed use of classic and modern classic pieces of furniture, which I believe gives off a timeless elegance.

Where does your design inspiration come from?
I am inspired by a variety of different things, such as streets, books, voyages, music etc

In what direction do you feel that design is moving to?
We are building houses and settings much more for “people” and we are increasingly worried about the environment and trying to be sustainable in our designs. Each piece of architecture and design has its own perspective and we should be respective of that.

One piece of advice when it comes to interior design schemes:
Less is more! To paraphrase Mies van der Rohe.

How important are the International Design & Architecture Awards as recognition of talent and achievement?
It has been a great achievement to be shortlisted in these awards, it is an honour.

Commercial and residential interiors

Never stop working
