With only a few spaces remaining in the Lighting – Pendant / Chandelier category, luxury furniture brand Baker have secured their space in The International Product Design Awards 2013.

Baker submitted the Amanda Pendant from their Thomas Pheasant Collection. The inspiration for the piece is the classic sophistication of a drop earring. Handcrafted in Italy, the crystal-shaped shade is cut into jewelled facets that when lit, emits a sparkling glow that surrounds the room in an enchanted play of shadow and light. Suspending the lamp is a circular, solid brass ceiling place from which the single bracelet-style link brass chain drops to meet the hand cast brass mount fashioned in an intricate ribbed and tapered design.
