Restoring this exquisite grade II listed, white stuccoed property to its former glory as a family home, blending meticulous restoration with the ultimate in modern design and luxury. From the start, the brief was clear and uncompromising: to go beyond luxury and touch perfection. Mdesign London set out to respect and wherever possible, restore the building’s original features, from the central oak staircase to the striking cornicing. The designers wanted the property to epitomise the ultimate in twenty-first century living, blending architectural heritage with a visionary design aesthetic and the ultimate in luxury to create something truly unique.
The vision was made reality through the use of the finest materials, sumptuous fabrics, hand crafted furniture and specialist finishes from around the world. These were complemented by custom-made creations from acclaimed artisans, each at the pinnacle of their craft. Bespoke details set this property apart, from the two-storey feature wall to the custom bronze architectural staircase to the leisure floor. The light filled drawing room, the grand reception rooms, the modern dining room, the classic entrance hall, each space has its own distinctive character, whilst at the same time forming an integral part of a seamless whole.
The two-storey feature wall between the lower ground floor and first floor is a design statement. Geometric diamonds have been carefully cast into the wall, delicately adorned in gold leaf and highlighted by bespoke lighting.
