One of the most stunning features of this home is the kitchen. When designing it, the homeowners wanted a classic white kitchen that would stand the test of time – which is exactly what Interior Designer, Lissa Lee Hickman and PHX Architecture captured. The white kitchen in this particular home, effectively expands the space visually, creating an open and inviting look and feel. The custom see-through glass cabinets allow natural light to flow through to the kitchen area, while simultaneously creating a subtle transition between the two spaces. The white cabinets are paired with a neutral grey backsplash tiles to create warmth, while also avoiding having the space feel too stark. The grey tile backsplash and cabinets are offset by timeless Calcutta Gold Marble countertops, which were honed for ease of use and durability. In order to add a pop of colour, PHX Architecture chose to cover the bar stools in blue cloth, and also tie in the homeowner’ s heirloom Blue and White Chinese porcelain pieces.

Expansive and bright, the kitchen creates an inviting look and feel while also highlighting several porcelain pieces that the homeowners cherish – adding a personal touch to the space.
