Tell us a little about your background in design
Starting off in my early years as a floor layer I have seen many fantastic design projects, this where my passion spurned from and has grown with me to this day with my role at Natural Elements Flooring.

How would you describe your personal interior design style?

I like to be a little unique, from daring to bold.  Art plays a major part but it’s also nice to take certain aspects and ideas from others and add your own personal touch.

Where does your design inspiration come from?
I like to use my other interests and hobbies as inspiration for my designs from photography to old vinyl record covers there is something in every room of my home that has a sense of my lifestyle inside

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?

Design has become a major industry in recent years from TV to the Internet there is always something new and capturing, now days a school leaver wanting to be in the interior design industry is not a rare thing. And in that sense I see this as an ever expanding culture.

Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in 2014 and beyond.

If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to product design, what would it be?
