. Tell us a little about your background in design.

Interior Design Masters degree on Polish Art Academy (ASP-WARSAW)in 2001 – since then 14 years of growing EXITDESIGN with my wife Hanka Bajer.

. How would you describe your personal interior design style?

We do not have a style, we like to do just good design and the style doesn’t matter. Good proportions, observance of the principles of style of rising project are main principles of our work. Interiors must have a soul of the owner or inhabitants – they must feel well in our project.

. Where does your design inspiration come from?

From the past styles, from past principles of composition and proportion from past masters like DaVinci, LeCourbusier, Mondrian, Wright and many others.

. In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?

It is only a illusion of revolution. Of course there is always development of technology and this is visible changes in details, but human needs and ergonomics is always the same and in the end all of us want to feel good and comfortable in the interior.

. Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in 2015 and beyond.

I don’t know – today in design we again like 60’s and Scandynavian style, tomorrow we will choose something with darker and stronger colours – but all of this was already in the past and it will repeat again in the future.

. If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to interior design schemes, what would it be?

Always the same – respect for old masters, respect for the geometry and nature. Without context and knowledge of the style there is no true progress in design.

. How important are The International Design and Architecture Awards as recognition of talent and achievement?

There are a  lot of design companies in the world who do not have this respect and knowledge of design. They try to become an  authority, but they only create bad taste. Awards like this shows the quality and create the elite of experts.

. What projects are you currently working on?

Many – always different, but the same. Apartments, houses…

. What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?

Main – to show our office outside Poland – to reach for large investors in other interesting countries.
