This California Coastal inspired home in the heart of Florida’s Gulf shore features a collection of custom woodworking, bold architectural and ceiling details, and a mixture of furnishings in ocean blue and natural hues. The home was designed specifically for a northern, middle-aged couple that enjoy the riches of coastal Naples. The use of rich blue and neutral fabrics are elevated with reclaimed wood, a gold quartzite accent wall and glass barn doors truly capturing rustic California style in the heart of the Gulf Shore.

The various elements of this family home combine natural tiles and stonework with dark wood accents featured in the connecting outdoor kitchen and grilling area, cabana room, and infinity edge pool. Ceiling details, wall accents, and unique lighting add dimension and texture to each area while maintaining the liveability this family desired.

The main, open living area is the focal point of this beautiful home. The kitchen, dining and great room overlay and connect for the ultimate space to enjoy. The kitchen features a gold quartzite accent wall, rustic reclaimed wood double kitchen islands, and a piano off to dining. High ceilings allow Florida sunshine to filter into the space and illuminate the rustic neutrals and invigorating blues.

It was crucial for this home to be a ‘family home’ which was thoroughly executed. The main living areas allow family time and gatherings, and a home away from home to create long lasting memories. The bedrooms were designed based on those occupying them allowing individuality and uniqueness. Common interior design and architecture styles in the Naples area gravitate to coastal, serene living accented with whites, ice blues, and airy materials. This home stands out from the typical, Gulf Coast style with a darker, richer elegance separating it from the norm of the surrounding neighbourhood.
