design et al are delighted to announce that Robert Angell Design International have been shortlisted for Bar/Club/Lounge – Europe Award in The International Hotel & Property Awards 2019.

Three beautiful spaces that all have their unique identity yet seamlessly work as a holistic restaurant / bar experience.

The separation of kitchen, restaurant and bar is over, Fritz & Felix wants to be a dining room and a living room, a workplace and a relaxation zone, an oasis of pleasure and simply a casual meeting place. Robert Angell Design International were approached by the prestigious Oetker Collection, who were looking at a new restaurant & food concept at Brenners Park-Hotel in Baden Baden, Germany. This was a bold move spearheaded by CEO Mr Frank Marrenbach, who wanted a Restaurant & Bar which was a real contrast to the more traditional ones in and around Baden Baden.

Robert Angell were appointed to create magical interiors, drawing inspiration from the incredible ever changing Black Forest, nature and Brenners Park-Hotel’s long association with Classic cars. From this inspiration Robert Angell Design International included details such as beautiful upholstery stitching, ribbed glass from automobile headlights, together with use stunning metals, timbers and leather in the joinery.

The traditions of Black forest, the enchantment – being a popular for kings and queens, emperors and celebrities. It’s a stunning part of Germany and many people gravitate yearly to see the beauty and mystic that bounds this wooded mountain range where the Danube River originates. This is the most beautiful region in the country with fairytale forests and enchanting scenery.

Robert Angell’s interiors evoke a style that is relaxed yet luxurious, simple yet elegant. They brought the outside in & having the best location in Baden Baden with the wonderful parkland setting.  The colours from the nature inspired the artwork at Brenners, with restaurant having huge pieces of art Displayed on its walls.
