Luxe et al are delighted to announce that Roberto Curtò Yacht & Design have been shortlisted for the Concept Under 40 Metres Award in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2018.
The MY 40 Metre design perfectly demonstrates Roberto Curtò’s signature style which consists of innovation and practicality. Its technical features such as the specific hull shape and water jet propulsion deserve tense and sharp lines, in other words, as masculine as a cutting blade.
A stand out feature of Roberto Curtò’s design includes an “al fresco” dining area supported by a full equipped kitchen for large barbecue parties onboard. This feature joined to the big sun deck and stern area ensures a large amount of external spaces to enjoy the open-air yachting life. The interior layout follows the same idea in fact, it has been studied to increase natural light as much as possible. Glass surfaces and delayed decks create an interesting game that improve the sunlight passage through the decks, until reaching the lower one.
MY 40 Metre contains numerous areas designed for lounging and entertaining whilst at sea. The long sweeping bow of the boat uses sleek lines to glide through the water. A foldable platform at the aft allows the owner and guests to lounge close to the sea or engage in water activities. The long glass panels create a stylish architectural solution, allowing guests to enjoy the views whilst in the confines of the modern luxury interior.
