design et al are delighted to announce that Samuel Wright Design and Echo Yachts have been shortlisted for Concept Over 40 Meters Award in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2019.
Designed for a daring owner, Samuel Wright Design in collaboration with Echo Yachts created this 65-meter adventure yacht concept vessel, and aptly named it ‘Project Stadium.’ Samuel Wright Design’s objective for Project Stadium was to make sure the design centres around family adventure, so Project Stadium comes equipped with everything you may need for fun on the ocean. The large tender carrying capabilities was an essential part of the family driven design and when matched with the flexible accommodation, that can comfortably support up to six families, Project Stadium is a yacht that is more than suitable for any occasion.
Project Stadium not only comes with an array of tender options, it also has full helicopter capabilities, making Project Stadium extremely flexible anywhere in the world. The guests will have endless entertainment at their disposal with its large swimming pool, sports court and outdoor cinema. Project Stadium also has a separate boardroom for conducting business away from the main activity areas. It also has a private owners’ den and a beach club to the aft of the yacht.
The vessel was designed to be extremely practical, straightforward and clean to maximise fun times and minimise down time! By collaborating with Echo Yachts on Project Stadium, Samuel Wright Design was given the real-world know-how and innovative engineering skills required to design a concept that not only was realistic in terms of build-ability but also allowed it to bridge the gap between imagination and reality, giving Project Stadium a solid, feasible foundation to build upon and make a reality.
