Seventyonepercent – Iris Ceramica Group have been Shortlisted for Bespoke Cabinetry/Installation Award in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2020.
Globe, designed by Paolo Castelli and distributed by Seventyonepercent, is an object with a strong aesthetic impact, a source of light that brightens spaces and adds a new dimension to environments where it inevitably stands out. It features a parabolic disc in a hammered glass colour, bronze or silver, with a 200cm diameter with backlight integrated LED. The washbasin cabinet is suspended with metal profiles, colours of opaque, gold or nickel matt black and edged with taupe leather. The plate of calacatta in gold or light statuary.
The design works so well due to its elegancy, preciousness of finishings, care of details and Italian craftsmanship of local artisans.
