design et al is delighted to announce further shortlist success for dSign Vertti Kivi & Co. in the fifth annual International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2015. The Finnair Premium Lounge will compete for the First Class Lounge Award.
This Finnair Premium Lounge opened early August, 2014, at the Helsinki-Vantaa airport. The lounge is located in the Non Schengen area in adjunction to the existing Finnair Lounge.
The interior design of the new Premium Lounge as well as the reception area shared by both lounges will utilise the Space Alive concept of changeable spaces from dSign Vertti Kivi & Co.
The mood, colours, lighting, wall pattern and the view in the “panorama Widows” change according to time of day and seasons. The design objective has been to create a consistent customer experience for whole trip, from the shops and lounges to the aircraft
With sauna facilities on offer in this Finnair Premium Lounge, customers can truly relax whilst waiting for their flight.
The Helsinki-based interior design firm have created a modernised look for Finnair, which clearly sets itself apart from other airlines with quality, freshness and changing moods. dSign managed to offer the customer a cohesive experience – the Customer Journey. The changeable moods and the Space Alive concept are integral to this.
