Located downtown in Singapore’s prestigious financial district, situated on the beautiful Marina Bay, Westin Singapore Features 305 Guestrooms and Suites, 4 F&B Outlets and the Westin Heavenly Spa. Inspired by nature, the design concept reflects the brand design standards in a modern setting. Streamlined décor featuring materials that are textural interpretations of landscape imagery sets an elegant and stylish tone for the whole hotel. The design for Westin Singapore was aimed at business & leisure travellers to recharge themselves after an eventful day at work or while sightseeing.

The guest’s first experience is the dramatic ground floor drop off lobby with its triple height space infused with subtle (tone on tone) contemporary flower motif appearing to float above the Concierge desk. The lift entry ways are flanked by huge back lit panels with a warm blond chequered timber panelling throughout. The Lift buttons are discretely incorporated into 2 beautifully crafted Chinese cabinets that add to a sense of place. In the distance the oversized, warmly lit lantern pendants draw the guest into Daily Treats. This Deli style area showcases and represents everything fresh and wholesome, from the blond timber, white and green glass palette, down to the details of bread/home made chocolates cleverly displayed to fresh herbs on the tables. A healthy grab and go.

The Guest is greeted to a palette of harmonious nature inspired colours throughout the hotel. The lobby, meeting rooms, ballroom, corridors and guestrooms are of rich yet neutral colours.  We have ebony and rosewood against colours with grey casts, the look is luxurious yet not inconspicuous. In contrast, we have the Daily Treats, Guest Dining Hall and the Westin Heavenly Spa, wherein the palettes are very light, calming and natural.  These are the public spaces where the guests are nurtured and inspired. One the project’s key aspects has to be the hotel main lobby at level 32. With breathtaking views of the city this is a first of its kind in Singapore and is destined to set design standards for sky lobbies.

At Level 3, the guest is gently introduced to the Pre-function and Ballroom areas. Whilst still encouraging a relaxed feeling, these areas exude a rich environment of dark timber, striking marbles, intricate mirror detailing and giant contemporary chandeliers. The white multi faceted archways as you arrive on level 3 are designed to create an ‘anti’ space before entering the Pre-Function proper. This ‘open trellis’ at a lower height is designed to create an even more dramatic entrance to the double height Pre-Function and Ballroom.
