Beachview is a modern, minimalist and semi-waterfront custom home inspired by nature and the “less is more” design philosophy. Offering 4800 sq.ft of open concept luxury living, this home provides a collaboration of indoor and outdoor lifestyle; capturing nature’s awe-inspiring energy using skylights and European floor to ceiling windows which are overlooking panoramic water views.
The bright white exterior gives Beachview a clean appearance and sets it apart from the other houses around it. The interior is minimal yet welcoming – Vancouver Development chose a palette of neutral tones and soft textures to suit the client’s changing taste over time and give them flexibility to decorate for maximum comfort, function and aesthetics. Thoughtfully planned with a steel and concrete structure and a multi-functional open floor-plan; the space embellishes a sophisticated aesthetic with artistic details, innovative ideas to maximise space and views everywhere which are highlighted by creative LED lighting design.
The stand out features of Vancouver Development’s Beachview project include the beautiful sculptural glass spiral staircase which acts as the focal point in the residence, and minimalist kitchen with champagne bronze accents, innovative pantry and concealed door to wok kitchen. This space also passes the focus to the back garden and the views that the property has to offer, where the home opens out beautifully fades into rock retaining walls, with a waterfall and green hedges.
Vancouver Development’s nature inspired concept can be found in the details of the design. The clean-lined exterior is combined with ample European oversized windows and highlighted by an artistic green driveway to let the natural environment shine. The expansive windows and skylights were carefully designed and placed to bring natural lighting while maintaining privacy and capture unobstructed views throughout. The river rocks on the side of the modern concrete stairs were positioned with hidden twinkling lights to create an illusion of of a waterfall as part of the property’s exterior.
The timeless interior design concept combines soft textures with matt neutral tones and finishes, and the integrated contemporary details have resulted in a refined yet inviting experience.
