Construction is well underway in Turkey on Mengi Yay’s latest 43.7- metre superyacht project, Virtus. The yachts hull, which is being constructed out of steel, is almost finished and work has already begun on her aluminium superstructure. She features naval architecture by Ginton Naval Architects, and is projected to be completed towards the end of 2019.
Virtus is the product of a strong and elegant design approach by Italian design studio VYD Studio undertaking both her interior and exterior design. Virtus has an incredibly sleek profile which is accompanied by innovative technology throughout. The strong and pure lines seen in the design are what make Virtus special, coupled with the fantastic experience of Mengi Yay, this yacht is truly special.
Virtus features a five-stateroom layout with an on-deck king master suite along with four guest staterooms below, all with ensuite baths. Additional amenities include a main salon, formal dining salon with Murano crystal fixtures, a commercial galley and an oversized aft deck. VYD Studio always looks at the project in its complexity, so they can more easily define the uniqueness of Virtus based on her sleek and elegant lines which retain originality without compromising the interior spaces.
