design et al are delighted to announce that Yurtbay Seramik have been shortlisted for Wallcovering Award within The International Design and Architecture Awards 2018.
Yurtbay Seramik introduce the Lorem tile design, suitable for a multitude of purposes within different interior spaces. The Lorem design is a 30 x 90 cm moulded tile designed as a wallcovering. Available in three colours; navy, black & navy and white, these can be used as individual colour ways or combined to achieve a more eclectic look. The Lorem wallcovering is versatile for both residential and commercial areas.
Inspired by the latest trends from Salone del Mobile Milano Yurtbay Seramik created the Lorem tile design, identifying that repeating patterns and geometric print were desirable they created this matrix print relief tile. Moving away from more traditional tile colour scales Yurtbay Sermaik instead opted for navy as the main colour and offered a white alternative as a more conservative option. It was important that the design was in keeping with new design trends as well as offering a client a new atmosphere and matte moulded surface for multi usage such as a display or feature wall. This design is targeted to individuals who want to create their own living space whilst retaining a modern and contemporary style.
