Jonathan Williams Luxury Kitchens & Bespoke Furniture have been shortlisted for Kitchen Design Over £50,000 Award in The International Design and Architecture Awards 2020.
Jonathan Williams were enlisted to complete this project, to provide the homeowners with a contemporary flair to contrast the homes exterior. Designers William Healy and Jonathan Martin felt that using joinery techniques specific to Jonathan Williams, such as truly bespoke cabinetry, completed with fully solid materials, they could provide the homeowners the exact look and feel that this home needed to contrast with its surrounds.
The design is taken from the Jonathan Williams ‘Contemporary’ collection and features a custom pantry, solid dovetail walnut drawers and interiors. The Kitchen is fully solid and genuinely hand painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Off Black’ for a true matte finish. The kitchen is also fitted with a stunning AGA and capped with Corian worktop to complete this stunning modern Kitchen.
On top of the stunning kitchen, there is an adjoining boot-room to match the modern interiors, with contemporary wall pattern exterior that allows a contrast to the home’s exterior, while keeping in line with our straight edge contemporary style. The matte black finish contrasted beautifully with the natural walnut interiors to compliment not just the Kitchen itself, but the natural woodland exterior of the home.
The straight edges of the project give this kitchen a flow that really sums up the beauty of a modern kitchen. A matte finish was chosen to be hand painted on site, giving a nod to our more traditional Jonathan Williams style, while displaying the skill to master a contemporary look. The beauty of the natural wood used for this project allowed the home to fit into its exterior, while having a finish to contrast.
