The International Yacht and Aviation Awards will be celebrated at the Dorchester hotel, London, on Friday 19 April 2013.
The Mangusta 165 #07 is the latest yacht to reach the shortlist in the International Yacht and Aviation Awards 2013.
Completed at the Viareggio yard, she boasts a stunning interior by Overmarine Group’s design department. Overmarine Group was also responsible for the exterior styling, along with Stefano Righini
At 49.9 metres, Mangusta 165 takes the penultimate place in the popular MY over 40 metres category. She is the fastest composite Maxi Open yacht ever to be built and features a perfect balance of shape; pure lines and a sporty profile enclosed in an elegant, white hull.
The 4 cabin layout in hull no. 7 is luxurious and contemporary, without being too minimal or stark. This is achieved as a result of the decorative wealth of the beautiful bleached teak cladding and furnishings.
The exteriors are designed to cater for the ultimate in relaxation. The stern cockpit is furnished with a Jacuzzi, a large table (which sits up to 14 guests), and a corner bar with up&down TV.
At bow, there is another lunch area. The flybridge houses a second wheelhouse, a barbecue unit and a large sunbathing area. As well as allowing for relaxation, the Mangusta 165 also offers her owner and his guests the chance to have some fun.
Indeed, besides the tender, the stern garage also houses jet skis, equipment for diving and other water toys. Moreover, the right hand bulkhead features a removable diving board and an inflatable slide on the flybridge, reaching directly to the water.
