design et al are delighted to announce that Houles have been shortlisted again in the Fabric Category of the International Product Design Awards 2015 . Houles Paris have created a highly graphic contemporary fabric, with large interlacing geometric motifs. The decorative patterning takes its inspiration from the term Entrelacs meaning a decorative border of interlaced garlands and leaves . The coloured backgrounds in satin and silk and the matt ribbon-like motifs have a cotton weft and silk warp.ENTRELACS will provide a very modern touch in an interior thanks to its straight graphic lines.
