It is with great pleasure that design et al announce that NR Group have been shortlisted for the Residential £30 Million Plus (Property Value) Award in the ID&A Awards 2015. This grand Surrey Mansion has been designed with an international flavour and with input from NR Group at an early stage to the developer, Octagon Developments.
To maximise living space and in keeping with strict planning guidelines, a huge basement, a mediterranean style courtyard and a stunning garden encompass the rear of the house. A cinema,games suite, swimming pool and spa area and a room for enjoying parties are located here with access both internally upstairs or directly to the outside. Natalia particularly understands the need for natural light and spaces that are not dark, so her clever use of colour and fabrics is clearly evident in every turn. Spaces under staircases have a flash of colour, Fendi cushions and carpets to add to the feeling of beautiful and classical opulence.
The centrepiece is a curved marble staircase in the main entrance hall a glass balustrade and the most stunning two storey glass chandelier you will see anywhere in the world is what Natalia particularly wanted to emphasise. Mirrored lifts combined with dark furniture sourced worldwide combine beautifully with marble and natural light flooding in through carefully designed light tunnels. Natalia has walls adorned with neutral colours combined with artwork of her heroes,Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn which is why NR Group designs feel intimate and personal. With five carefully furnished reception rooms and and six individual bedroom suites all carefully created and designed.
