. Tell us a little about your background in design (education, experience, etc)
I am an interior designer and managing partner at 4SPACE, a dynamic and multi-talented firm delivering quality architectural and design services from Dubai. We work with local and global brands to design comprehensive environments with an effective commercial purpose. We have designed properties within the commercial, retail and hospitality sectors, as well as living spaces and exhibitions. Our skills enable us to make spaces and objects that resonate with the environment.
How would you describe your personal design style?
Uniqueness and stylish elegance, is my style.
I always look for a space design which you can’t experience anywhere else, not to mention the trendiness.
Where does your design inspiration come from?
Sometimes I draw my inspiration from Art, a book or a movie, anything could consider as an inspiration as long is a story telling.
In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?
Minimalist, look how the industrial design evolving in cars and technology, the design lines are becoming simpler and reduced to only the most essential elements

Be unique, Uniqueness is what makes your designs noticeable and recognised.
How important are The International Hotel and Property Awards as recognition of talent and Achievement?
Highly Important, It is great to receive such a recognition. The awards is a great opportunity for leading designers to showcase their achievement.
What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?
We would like to see a 4SPACE design at every other property or location in the
world, and to evolve our work to align with the world’s best.

Your favourite holiday destination?
Italy because it is so inspiring in terms of art and culture. No other place in Europe – arguably the world – has a history and tradition as rich as the Italians.
Your favourite hotel / restaurant / bar?
Le Negresco in NICE, this hotel is a National Historic Monument faces the Bay of Angels
And have a world-class art collection.
Zuma is my favorite place for place to eat and drink with an informal yet sophisticated style with a contemporary twist.
Your favourite way to spend an afternoon?
Playing Squash.
If you weren’t a designer, what would you be?
Maybe an Architect or a Professional Squash player.
