Taking inspiration from sports cars, INARA boasts a sophisticated, elegant, sleek profile with modern, clean lines and a simple design Studying sports cars from the client’s private collection, the aim was to create a sophisticated, elegant, sleek profile with modern, clean lines and a simple design.
For the exterior design, emphasis was placed on the topsides in order to embody the feeling of a sports car, adding accent lines along the surfaces. The hull lines were developed to make Inara appear different from every angle, combining convex and concave surfaces that blend into each other to form a stylish profile. The superstructure was placed far aft and special attention was given to the shape of the large glass surfaces, to achieve the Coupé look they were after. Though the superstructure may look enclosed, there are windows and pivoting balconies that allow light to penetrate the main salon and the owner’s suit
The exterior is divided into four areas, each with a different purpose. Forward on the main deck, a wide-beam lounge area was added and includes a full-glass Jacuzzi. Glass features heavily on the balconies to ensure that views out to sea are not interrupted when you are sitting inside. A glass-covered stern opens up into a beach club, an area that includes a wet bar, dayhead and large seating areas both inside and out when the platform is deployed.
