design et al are delighted to announce that Cameron Design House won the Lighting- Pendant/Chandelier Award in The International Product Design Awards 2016
This contemporary chandelier is inspired by the tranquil lakes of Lohja, Finland. Exploring peace, space and balance, the Lohja brings clarity to high-ceilinged rooms and large working areas.
The seamless rolled rings alternate between an external and internal facing LED lighting configuration, dispersing light through hundreds of hand-assembled diffusers, emitting 360 degrees of ambient tones.
Geometry and simplicity are combined in this piece to result in an interesting and balanced sculptural form which looks different from every angle with the changing linear juxtapositions.
It can feature up to 12 Tiers with various ring profiles. The Rings range from 40-300cm in diameter with a fully adjustable drop height and angle and Lights can be placed internally or externally on these. They are available in Aluminium (comes as standard for a powder coated finish), Copper, Chrome, Nickel, Brass, Bronze And Gold-Plated (24 Carat).
The Paint Finishes are available in Powder Coated matte/gloss and the Metal Finishes : Polished, brushed, antiqued or burnished. The LED colour variants make these pieces all the more bespoke with warm white, bright white, super bright white lights available. The chandelier beckons its own atmosphere of grace and elegance, the result of a design philosophy of simplicity through complexity.
