Congratulations to 98 Wireless by Sansiri & dwp – design worldwide partnership winners of the Luxury Residence – Global Award in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2017

design et al are delighted to announce that 98 Wireless by Sansiridwp – design worldwide partnership have won the Luxury Residence – Global Award within The International Design and Architecture Awards 2017.

A meticulous attention to detail, beaux-arts finesse, opulent marble and iconic styling all conspired to elevate this new benchmark and most enviable address, where ‘the best comes as standard’. 98 Wireless, one of the Southeast Asia’s most distinguished residential towers by Sansiri, Thailand’s leading property developer, offers 77 units with room sizes ranging from two to three-bedroom residences, the Penthouses, and the most spectacular Super Penthouse – “The One” – which is located on the building’s top two levels.
10 Sansiri 98W Interior Lot 13dwp raised the bar on residential opulence. This luxury development features the finest fixtures, fittings and furniture in a modern translation of a timeless classic. From the façades of Portuguese limestone to the solid oak herringbone floors, and from the rare mahogany doors to Statuario marble bathroom tiles, their design creates a new chapter in Thai interiors. dwp were also selected as lead architects for the luxury residential development 98 Wireless in Bangkok, Thailand. dwp’s role also extended to providing local interior design services, in support of Anne Carson Interiors, as well as design development, documentation, implementation, sourcing of local materials, value engineering, and coordination of all interior and FF&E issues. dwp were, furthermore, the local designer and implementation coordinator for the show units inside the residences.
dwp’s favourite aspect of the project is the ultra-luxury feel from using the finest materials and craftsmanship to create a structure that was as aesthetically pleasing as it was functionally liveable. The design works so well because it fits the location perfectly. To dwp, Wireless Road looked like Bangkok’s Fifth Avenue. So, the building was designed to be reminiscent of the classic edifices of New York in the Beaux-Arts style. It is luxury that will pass the test of time. There are a lot of embassies along Wireless Road, so the vision was to create a classic, timeless and traditional building. You see traditional architecture at the base, the middle and the top, giving the building a very strong podium that fits in with both the sky and the trees at street level.
