Abeking & Rasmussen is delighted to announce the launch of the exceptional new 68 metre luxury yacht “SOARING”. Early this week the elegant superyacht emerged out of her shed and onto the syncrolift before she was finally lowered into the water for the first time on the morning of January 18th. Named after the majestic soar of an eagle, the yacht will now be prepared for her harbor and sea trials and is on schedule for delivery from our shipyard in April.
As with all Abeking & Rasmussen yachts, “SOARING” is a custom-made floating home that leaves nothing to be desired by her Owner. The Bremen-based design studio “FOCUS Yacht Design” is responsible for the interior and exterior design. “We are very excited to see how great our concepts for interior and exterior design are coming into being. The shipyard works like clockwork and the opportunity to work on both design spheres allows an integrated and holistic approach. As a result the yacht turned out modern and timeless at the same time.” said Thomas Mühe, Managing Director of FOCUS Yacht Design.
“Superyacht Technical Services” have carefully project managed the construction process for the Owner’s side. With a size of more than 1,500 Gross Tons, the Yacht is properly sized to venture out to the most beautiful destinations world-wide. With MY SOARING Abeking & Rasmussen´s multi-faceted fleet is being complimented by a classic gentleman’s yacht with a sophisticated and elegant interior. After building Cloudbreak, Aviva, Elandess and Excellence A&R once again proves that they are able to turn into reality varied Owner´s individual wishes.
“SOARING” will not only be available for her Owner´s pleasure but also for charter guests. Renowned global yacht experts Ocean Independence, based in Zurich, have been appointed for both yacht manager and charter central agent of this new build.
