design et al are delighted to announce that Alvinterior Concept have been shortlisted for Interior Design Scheme – Asia Pacific Award in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2019.
Alvinterior Concept were given the design brief to create a comfortable and spacious home for a modern family. When given this task, Alvinterior Concept knew that Taman Tun would be a project where they could express their speciality in modern grey-white colour concepts and truly embrace the desires of their client.
The interior colour scheme is introduced in the living area, where the contemporary combination of white and grey appears to widen the area, allowing for the room to comprehend augmented space and light. The clean colours and linear scheme are then complimented by the added touches of blue and curved furniture, along with hints of darker colours to create a comforting and practical tone for the modern family. This design is accentuated by the grey and white walls, as well as the mirrored surfaces in the living area again adding space to the room.
Alvinterior Concept’s choice of white and grey flows into the kitchen and dining area. Again, mirrored surfaces on the wall and ceiling expand the space, showing Alvinterior Concept’s awareness of both the design concept but also the space that the project provides. In this space though, darker tones focus on grey shades, where this softer scheme makes the area welcoming yet intimate. These colours, alongside the combination of textures, simultaneously exude modern luxury, carried through into the kitchen area which shares the same scheme.
The master bedroom provides a space that accommodate all needs. Here you will find more neutral tones for a calm and relaxed environment. The linear accents within the laser cut design feature maintain the modern element; this unique design connects all areas of the room, from the master wardrobe to the book cabinets throughout. The lighting effect that Alvinterior Concept has embedded into these cabinets furthers the warm tones as well as creating more depth and space.
